Wellington Interfaith Council receives international Prize

The RDC Trustee Selva Ramasami  reports from Wellington:
Minister Andrew Little presented members of the Wellington Interfaith Council with the global King Abdullah II UN WIHW 2021 Prize. This was for the World Interfaith Harmony Week launch event held in February this year, where the council won first place.
The February launch event saw the Wellington Interfaith Council feed over 200 people free lunch at the Wellington Cenotaph, metres from Parliament. Faiths represented at the events shared a prayer or message based on the theme of the week.
